SATURN

SATURN - Enters Libra 10/30/2009 til 10/5/2012. Enters Scorpio on 10/5/2012, at 1:37 pm PDT til 12/23/2014 at 8:38 am PST, when it goes into Sag. Then Rx back into Scorpio on 6/16/15, and goes back into Sag on 9/19/15.

Saturn moved into Libra at the end of October in 2009. Libra is all about beauty for beauty's sake, but now, Librans become more practical. They don't want to spend just to spend, and in general, pull back on the 'disposable income' and start to save for something solid and practical that serves a purpose as well as being decorative. Saturn here sobers Librans, makes them stop and take stock in what has transpired in the past few years. Librans like to get along and defer to other signs, but now, their backbone stiffens and they realize they need to be more assertive.

Aquarius and Gemini will benefit the most from this transit, since Libra trines their sun signs. Capricorns, Arians and Cancers will be the ones tested with this energy, being in the square position, and Aries opposing. Keep your nose to the grindstone and don't try to grandstand, and you have a better opportunity to get thru it on a higher level. Virgos and Scorpios, Pisces and Taurus will feel 'adjustments' taking place ,as Saturn quincunx' (30 degrees) and inconjuncts (150 degrees) their signs. That leaves Leo and Sag in a sextile position to Libra, which will create 2 YODs pointing to Pisces and Taurus, respectively. When Saturn tests, your "answers" are in those houses....but it's up to you to figure it out.

On October 5, 2012, as we move to the national elections in the U.S., Saturn moves into Scorpio for the next 2 1/2 years. Look back 29-30 years ago and remember what occurred when Saturn went thru Scorpio last. That was 1983-84-85, but 1983 was the last time Saturn and Pluto conjuncted, so this will be a lighter trip through the underworld than then. Pluto is all about money, corporations, power, domination and control by surreptious means. Saturn is about rules and regulations, towing the line, going strictly be the book, so this is usually not a fun transit. It tends to tighten money and make acquisitions practical and enduring rather than frivolous.

Pisces and Cancer will benefit most from this transit, because they are in trine to Scorpio and are the other water signs. Saturn will trine their sun at some point, garnering favor from higher ups. Aquarians and Leos be the ones tested as Saturn squares those signs, as well as Taurus in opposition. Time to play by the rules and not try to play by your own. When Saturn checks in, he wants to see everything is to his liking and then he'll dispense just rewards. Capricorn and Virgo will be in sextile, providing an opportunity if you play your cards right. The 'answer' for Virgo is where Aries is in your chart; Cap's is Gemini....where do you need to pioneer Virgie?...and what do you need to learn, Cap?? Sag, and Libra quincunx, and Pisces and Gemini inconjunct....here are where the "adjustments" need to be made, moving you in new directions.

For you, Scorpio, now that Saturn is in Libra, it is in your 12th house of the hidden, mate's job and step father. It's playing a game behind the scenes, so you have to keep an eye on your back to see what might be going on that you aren't privy to....yet. Someone in authority may be making moves for their benefit, that aren't necessarily best for you. If something doesn't seem right, pursue it.

When Saturn enters Scorpio in October of 2012, it moves to your house, Scorpio; your First house of Self, mom's dad, dad's mom, and focuses on YOU. You'll be even more taciturn, withholding your opinions in judgment. ....except if you're near the Sag side at the end of October, where you're vocalness will just be toned down a bit. If you're young, one of these grandparents can be irritable. They are showing you an aspect of yourself, who you could grow in to be.....so resolve now you'll be a better person.
