The Ram continues to charge into unknown territory, shaking things up in the professional arena while financial resources remain prosperous.  Much thought and energy is applied to work and earning with the Full Moon spotlighting investments!  Relationships are being reevaluated.  Communication is beneficial the first half of May but beware the last half!  Bite your tongue.

TAURUS    

Happy Solar Return to the passionate, persistent and obstinate Bull!  2012 begins on a high note as individual efforts are richly rewarded!  May favors broadcasting successes!  Destiny continues to guide joint resources and intimate endeavors until September when the focus shifts full on to partnerships, magnified under this Full Moon!  At that time Karma steps up to test last year’s personal achievements and certify one is ready for a serious relationship, coming in October.  Until then job and health concerns remain.  While hard work usually pays off, finances can be delicate.   Taurus’ ruling planet Venus turns Retrograde this month in their money sector which is also getting hit with an Eclipse!  What starts out flush can turn bust by the end of the month.  Be forewarned!!

Hindu New Year is celebrated on the Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. 2012 Hindu New Year could be the beginning of the Golden age. There are lots of stories from the Hindu mythology regarding the New Year. It is believed that Lord Krishna told Ganga Devi that the Golden age will start from the Kali Yuga. As per the Hindu scriptures the Kali Yuga is one of the stages of development which the world goes through. The belief, that 2012 Hindu New Year will be the Golden Age arises as per a calculation. The calculation is based on the lunar calendar. History says that the ancient Hindus used both solar and lunar calendars. So, as per the lunar calendar a year has 354.36 days. Until December 2012 it will be around 5270 lunar years since the Kali Yuga started.

The Mayans also predicted this year to be the rebirth of the planet. Moreover, as per the calculation by the solar calendar we have crossed 5113 solar years from the Kali Yuga. As per the solar year the number of days in a year is 365.24. We have crossed 5000 years and more in the Kali Yuga as per the solar and lunar calendar. The ancient Hindu scripture shows the verdict of Lord Krishna. So, we are expected to face the Golden Age in 2012. We can assume that 2012 Hindu New Year will bring happiness, joy, love and hope in all hearts.
